Empowering Women in Sports and Beyond: Introducing Title Nine, Our Newest Recycling Ambassador

We are excited to introduce another inspiring Recycling Ambassador to our community at The Bra Recyclers - Title Nine. This collaboration is a perfect fit, closely aligning with our missions to empower women and promote sustainability.

About Title Nine

Title Nine, founded in 1989 and based in Northern California, is a woman-run and owned company that has always championed the empowerment of women. Named after the landmark Title IX legislation, which ensures gender equality in education and sports, Title Nine stands as a beacon for women everywhere.

Their founder, Missy Park, was inspired by the act to create athletic apparel tailored specifically for women, helping them to lead, win, and thrive in all areas of life.

Title Nine's philosophy revolves around the belief that the outdoors and physical activity are powerful remedies for life's challenges. They see business as a team sport and a catalyst for change, fostering a community that supports women in taking risks and leading with confidence.

Aligning Values and Mission

At The Bra Recyclers, we are committed to supporting women through sustainable practices, and Title Nine shares this commitment to making a positive impact. By promoting athletic involvement, Title Nine helps build self-esteem and leadership skills among women, much like our efforts to provide confidence through proper lingerie and support.

Together, we aim to further empower women by offering convenient recycling options, ensuring that gently used bras and new underwear (with tags) are repurposed for those in need rather than ending up in landfills.

Drop-Off Locations

To make recycling even easier, Title Nine stores are now official drop-off locations for The Bra Recyclers. Here, you can recycle gently used bras and repurpose new underwear with tags, knowing your contributions will make a difference in another woman's life.
